Stainless steel sculpture in fabrication, studio view

Becker approaches sculpture as both a cultural and structural undertaking. Trained as an engineer, he holds a master’s degree from Stanford University. That background informs how projects are conceived, reviewed, fabricated, and installed—particularly within complex institutional or public settings. He works fluently with architects, administrators, fabricators, and construction teams, navigating both the conceptual and practical demands of large-scale and site-responsive work.

Commissions often arise from moments of lasting significance—leadership transitions, philanthropic milestones, scientific achievement, or family legacy. Whether figurative, symbolic, or site-integrated, each project is developed through a deliberate process that balances artistic intent with context, durability, and long-term responsibility.
