During the sculpting process, I had the privilege of working closely with Shonda's sister, Sandie, and Shonda herself. Despite their busy schedules, they generously provided the reference materials, measurements, and invaluable feedback through emails, YouTube, and Zoom meetings. Their collaboration allowed me to capture Shonda's beautiful likeness and embody her vibrant and powerful personality.
This is the actual Final-Sculpt phase review video I shared with Shonda's sister Sandie, the Television Academy and others. It's a critical part of the process — locking down the sculpt prior to beginning the dfoundry work. Sorry that it is really dry, but provides a glimpse into the process and at least one of the phases. Cheers!
