“This statue will convey the excitement, the trepidation, the exhilaration and emotion of the LIBERATION moment, as the emaciated soldier steps out of the darkness into the “Sunshine of Freedom”. He portrays the thousands who were bound in captivity by the infamy of foreign enemies.”

“This is to stand as an eternal legacy for our community by reminding visitors of the sacrifice of veterans during America’s efforts to keep alive the hopes and dreams of freedom for the oppressed around the world.”

Portrait bust of Actress Mary Tyler Moore.

Commissioned

by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the Emmys Hall of Fame.

Two bronze casts were created. One will be installed in Hollywood, at the Emmys Hall of Fame Courtyard. The second cast will be installed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Orlando, Florida.

James L Brooks has been awarded more Emmys than any individual (20), is the co-creator of the Simpsons and has been awarded 3 Oscars.
Charles Cappleman has had a tremendous influence on the technology of Television.

National City Fire

NATIONAL CITY FIRE HEADQUARTERS SCULPTURE

16th Street and D Avenue, National City, CA

National City Council commissioned this bronze sculpture for the City’s new Fire Station and Headquarters at the corner of 16th Street and D Avenue. The work honors the past, present and future Firefighters of the NCFD whose rich history began in 1887. The monumental bronze was developed over a year and a half with input from Firefighters and the National City Art Committee.

This was an honor and a lot of fun. Working with the Firefighters and the people of National City.
