More Behind the scenes.... Here are the photos I could find of the creation of the Homer bust. My process was very non-linear partly because I decided to make the Homer head study as I was figuring out how to create the little Homer for Jim Brooks HoF plaque. So you'll see various progress photos of little sketchy Homer's on Jim's shoulder. I can sequence these better if that will help and have larger versions of all of these images. Second head cast from the Liberation monument

Veterans Museum Visit, POW Sculpture Unveiling Planning

Met with Abe Shragge yesterday at the San Diego Veterans Museum. I gave them the slips of paper the veterans filled out for me, describing what it felt like to be liberated from a prisoner of war camp. The museum will keep these historical documents, which are very powerful. I can only imagine what it would be like to be imprisoned, starved, brutilized and then be freed. Foundry Trip for POW Monument

Thursday made the run to Burbank and Los Angeles. To CyberFX to blow up my maquette for Good Samaritan foundation.

Then to Hawthorne to check progress on the POW Monument. Its coming along real well. Its all assembled, welds are being chased.
If all goes well, run back friday to to finalize the chasing and prep for patinas.
